UIH Family Partners Focus Groups and Data Analysis

UIH Family Partners (UIH) contracted TAG Resources Inc., to conduct a community needs assessment and asset mapping process to help the agency better understand and respond to real – not just perceived – needs and opportunities for service provision with fathers and men in Mercer County.  Project planning identified and implemented a method to engage the community and isolate, from their perspective, issues related to fatherhood and recommendations for UIH program augmentation, outreach and marketing.  UIH asset mapping through focus groups with fathers was done across five municipalities in Mercer County to include Ewing, Hightstown, Princeton, Lawrenceville and Trenton.

Leadership Development Curriculum Focus Groups Data Analysis Summary and Recommendations

In response to the John S. Watson Institute's need  for a Public Policy assessment of regional leadership, this investigation was carried out to identify core competencies for the planned TESC Leadership Certificate program while simultaneously mining graduates of the Institute's Leadership Trenton Program.  The data helped determined the mission and purpose of academic and experiential learning outcomes that met accreditation thresholds and assisted in properly aligning leadership disciplines with course offerings and skill development frameworks.

TAG Resources Inc., was contracted by the Center for Law and Social Justice at Medger Evers College, CUNY, to facilitate the "Developing Competitive Grant Proposals In Constricted Funding Pools" workshop.  The training modules, designed by the firm, discussed what it takes to develop competitive grant proposals that get results in steadily constricting grant funding pools; and within the philanthropic community as a whole as their opportunities for funding become more targeted, evidence based, selective and strongly driven by social capital toward awardee renumeration.  To this end, the workshop's modules explore factors that impact your agency’s ability to formulate successful grant strategies for federal, state and local grantors; and how to facilitate reciprocity and relationships with donors and community foundations.
